Woodinville

The sleepy little wine country of yesterday is no more. Maybe when Ste Michelle became a
staple in the outdoor summer concert series and doubled/remodeled its tasting room spaces,
something magical happened. The rest of the wine country took note and suddenly we are the
brink of a true ‘destination’ wine experience.
The well loved Willows Lodge is still a wonderful get away retreat with its award winning Spa
services and nearby Barking Frog restaurant.
On the property, you also find the Herb Farm.
Once a small, boutique, chef ‘farm to table’ dining experience near Snoqualmie, when it
(literally) burned down, it moved to Woodinville and still draws those who want a culinary dining experience and wine pairing.
Other big, and small but mighty, name wineries that have strong followings are DeLille Cellars,
Novelty Hill-Janiuk, Alexandria/Nicole, Mark Ryan.
But for casual dining, don’t forget about Purple and the classic, Hollywood Tavern. Great food and atmosphere.
And look next year for the grand opening of the newest Hilton Hotel the world is waiting for. This project is showing up as highly anticipated for both its accommodations and services that will likely cement Woodinville as a true destination for wine connoisseurs.
